Albums in Suno: from playlist to release

Suno introduced albums on 5 October 2026. Learn how to prepare a release and what to check before publishing.

Album or playlist?

The new feature covers web, iOS and Android. [1] An album contains your songs, while a playlist can include multiple creators. LP and EP labels do not change how albums work. [2]

How do you use an existing playlist?

Open its (…) menu and choose Make Album from Playlist. This creates an album and leaves the original playlist in place. Only songs you created can be included. [3]

Use + Add songs on the album page. Drag songs to arrange their order, including after publication. [4]

Check before publishing

Publishing an album also makes its previously unpublished songs public. [4] Use Album cover for all songs applies the album artwork to every track. [5]

Choose Publish Album, review the details and confirm publication. The album appears on your profile and followers receive a notification. Possible featuring by Suno does not guarantee promotion or reach. You can share a draft link before publication. [5]

A.I.S.C practice

Our suggestion: listen to the final versions and check titles, sequence and artwork legibility. If each track has its own artwork, decide whether to replace it with a shared cover. Publishing on Suno does not automatically distribute music to other services.

This guide is based on documentation. We have not changed A.I.S.C albums or playlists on the Suno account.
